Salesforce Revenue Cloud and CPQ Architect Recruiting
Salesforce Staffing, LLC (The Salesforce Recruiter) recruits Revenue Cloud and CPQ architects for Salesforce consulting partners and for companies that run quote-to-cash on Salesforce. We work exclusive, direct-hire searches from Jupiter, Florida, and place architects across the US.
Roles we recruit
- Revenue Cloud solution architects
- CPQ architects and technical leads
- Architects leading CPQ to Revenue Cloud Advanced migrations
- Billing and contract lifecycle specialists inside quote-to-cash
- Revenue operations leaders who own the platform behind pricing and quoting
CPQ or Revenue Cloud Advanced: which architect do you need?
Salesforce has ended new sales of Salesforce CPQ and points customers to Revenue Cloud Advanced (RCA). Existing CPQ orgs are still supported, so many teams run one while planning the move to the other. The two products use different data models. An architect who built on CPQ needs RCA delivery experience before leading a migration. We confirm which platform each candidate delivered on and how much of the design was theirs.
What a Revenue Cloud architect should be able to show you
- A product catalog and pricing model they designed, and what they would change about it now
- How their quotes handled amendments, renewals and co-terming
- How quote data reached billing and the ERP, such as NetSuite, SAP or Oracle
- Where Sales Cloud opportunity design helped or limited the quoting process
- Who they worked with in sales operations and finance, and where they disagreed
Most resumes that mention CPQ describe setup work. When a setup specialist is hired as the architect, the usual result is a product catalog that stops scaling and pricing logic nobody can change.
Questions we ask candidates
- Walk us through the last pricing model you designed. What did you get wrong?
- A sales leader wants a discount rule that breaks your renewal logic. What do you do?
- Which design decision on your last implementation would you reverse, and why?
- Which parts did you design yourself, and which did your team build?

How we work
- Searches are exclusive. One firm works the role.
- 70 to 80% of our exclusive searches end in a hire. The rest ended in client cancellations, delays or internal hires. None were filled by another firm.
- Each candidate comes with a written assessment of fit and material risks.
- Direct hire is the main model. Contract architects are available, full time or part time.
- We recruit for Salesforce consulting partners and for companies that run Salesforce.
