Senior Data Analyst

Location: Washington, DC (Hybrid: 3 days in office / 2 days remote)
Compensation: $87,000–$101,000 base salary + comprehensive benefits

  • You must currently live within commuting distance of Washington, DC and be able to work on-site 3 days per week (Tuesday–Thursday).

Summary:
Use your analytical expertise to help power national-scale impact. As Senior Data Analyst for our National Development Department, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping strategies that strengthen donor engagement, maximize fundraising results, and fuel programs that make a lasting difference.

This is a high-visibility role where your insights will directly influence leadership decisions, helping to guide campaigns and initiatives that reach communities across the country.


Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze fundraising and donor data to uncover trends, identify opportunities, and guide strategy.

  • Develop user-friendly dashboards, reports, and visualizations to inform leadership decisions.

  • Apply statistical methods and predictive modeling to improve donor segmentation, retention, and acquisition.

  • Partner with development and fundraising teams to translate data insights into actionable campaign strategies.

  • Leverage APIs and CRM integrations to enhance donor data quality and ensure seamless, automated reporting.

  • Maintain robust data pipelines, ETL processes, and quality assurance checks.

  • Educate internal stakeholders on data interpretation and foster a culture of data-driven decision-making.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.

  • 5+ years of professional data analysis experience, preferably in a nonprofit or mission-driven environment.

  • Advanced skills in Tableau and proficiency in SQL, Python, or R.

  • Proven ability to turn raw data into actionable, high-impact insights.

  • Excellent communication skills—capable of presenting complex findings to non-technical audiences.

  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
