Salesforce Consultant - PM Focused
Job Details :
Salesforce Consultant | Fully Remote
We’re hiring a client-facing Salesforce Consultant to lead delivery across small to mid-sized Salesforce projects.
This is a hands-on consulting role for someone who can manage client conversations, turn business needs into well-defined Salesforce solutions, configure the platform directly, and keep multiple workstreams moving. You will not be limited to ticket execution. You will have real ownership over delivery, client experience, and solution quality.
What you’ll do
- Lead client discovery, status, planning, and UAT meetings.
- Own project plans, priorities, milestones, risks, scope, and next steps.
- Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, process documentation, and practical implementation plans.
- Configure Salesforce, including Flows, Lightning pages, fields, validation rules, permissions, and related admin-level functionality.
- Coordinate with developers, architects, internal delivery resources, and client stakeholders.
- Support data migration, QA, testing, deployment, hypercare, and documentation.
- Create clear client-facing updates, presentations, project plans, and executive summaries.
- Use AI tools, including Claude, to improve requirements analysis, documentation, solution design, testing preparation, and delivery efficiency.
What you bring
- 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce administration, configuration, or consulting experience.
- Experience owning Salesforce projects or significant workstreams from discovery through deployment.
- Strong client-facing communication skills and comfort leading meetings.
- Ability to bring structure to ambiguous business requests and make sound decisions as priorities shift.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery, Jira or similar project-management tools, and Salesforce data-loading processes.
- Strong organization, follow-through, attention to detail, and comfort managing multiple priorities in a remote consulting environment.
Experience at a Salesforce implementation partner is a plus. Experience with Agentforce, Health Cloud, OmniStudio, Field Service, Marketing Cloud Growth, or regulated industries is also valuable. Salesforce certifications are helpful, but practical delivery experience matters most.
Who should not apply
- You want a purely technical developer role with little or no client interaction.
- You prefer a tightly structured environment where someone else defines every task and priority.
- You are not comfortable leading client meetings, raising scope concerns, or communicating risks early.
- You have Salesforce exposure but have not independently configured solutions or contributed meaningfully to project delivery.
- You dislike documentation, testing, project tracking, and the follow-through required to deliver a strong client experience.
The right person is resourceful, technically credible, organized, client-ready, and comfortable taking ownership when the path is not perfectly defined.
