About the Role

Our client, a leading Salesforce SI and Summit-level partner, is seeking a Salesforce Technical Consultant to support delivery across a portfolio of client implementations. This is a hands-on build role for someone who is strongest in Salesforce configuration and automation, especially Flow, and who prefers working behind the scenes to bring solutions to life.

This is not a client-facing strategy role and it is not an Apex-heavy developer position. The right person is a true builder: someone who is highly capable in Salesforce Flow, comfortable executing against defined requirements, and able to collaborate internally with project managers, solution architects, leads, QA, and other delivery team members.

The ideal candidate has at least some exposure to Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud or related nonprofit Salesforce work, so they are not starting from zero in this environment. They do not need deep nonprofit specialization on day one, but they should have enough context to contribute effectively and grow into the work.

Compensation: Target base salary of $120,000-$140,000

What You’ll Do

Hands-On Build Work

  • Build and maintain Salesforce solutions with a strong focus on Flow automation.
  • Translate documented requirements into scalable, maintainable Salesforce configurations.
  • Support technical delivery across multiple active projects, with roughly 4 projects at a time being a typical workload.
  • Partner with internal delivery teams to chunk work effectively across priorities and project timelines.
  • Contribute to solution buildout, testing support, and deployment readiness.

Technical Delivery Support

  • Collaborate closely with PMs, Leads, and Solution Architects to execute against delivery plans.
  • Help ensure automations are designed with sound structure, maintainability, and platform best practices in mind.
  • Participate in internal QA, troubleshooting, and solution refinement as needed.
  • Support UAT preparation and issue resolution during implementation cycles.
  • Work across different client environments and project teams while staying focused on execution quality.

Team Collaboration

  • Operate as a technical delivery resource across a growing services organization.
  • Communicate clearly with internal stakeholders on progress, blockers, and technical considerations.
  • Balance multiple assignments at once and manage work in a way that supports project momentum.
  • Adapt to evolving internal processes and team structures while maintaining a high standard of output.

What You Bring

  • Strong Salesforce build experience in a consulting, SI, or internal delivery environment.
  • Deep working capability in Salesforce Flow; this role is best suited for someone who is roughly an 8/10 in flows and can build confidently without heavy oversight. Flow best-practice guidance consistently emphasizes maintainability, subflows, testing, documentation, and avoiding inefficient logic patterns, which makes real-world strength here more important than broad generalist exposure.
  • Experience working on multiple concurrent Salesforce projects in a delivery setting.
  • Ability to execute technical work independently while collaborating closely with internal cross-functional teams.
  • Exposure to Nonprofit Cloud or some portion of nonprofit-focused Salesforce work, enough to understand the landscape and avoid coming in completely blind. Current overviews describe Nonprofit Cloud as a purpose-built Salesforce solution for fundraising, program management, case management, and related nonprofit workflows.
  • Strong organization, follow-through, and comfort working in a builder-first role with limited direct client interaction.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce Administrator certification required.
  • Additional Salesforce certifications are helpful, but hands-on build strength matters more than certification count. PD1, preferred.
  • Experience with nonprofit-focused Salesforce implementations is a plus.
  • Exposure to more technical solution work beyond admin-level configuration is helpful, but this role does not require being an Apex developer.
  • Consulting partner or SI experience is required.

Success in This Role

  • High-quality build work is delivered consistently across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Flow automations are thoughtful, scalable, and maintainable.
  • Internal delivery teams can rely on this person to execute efficiently and communicate clearly.
  • Work is completed with minimal friction, strong ownership, and steady technical output.
  • The consultant grows into the nonprofit and partner-delivery context without needing extensive hand-holding.
