Salesforce Business Analyst – Insurance Industry Focus
Join a team where your Salesforce knowledge meets real client impact.
Our client, a boutique Salesforce implementation partner dedicated to the insurance industry, is seeking an experienced Salesforce Business Analyst to join their high-performing team. This is a rare opportunity to step into a front-facing, client-supporting role at a company that believes in career development, healthy work-life balance, and meaningful collaboration.
The Opportunity
As a key Business Analyst on the team, you’ll bring structure, clarity, and momentum to client projects. Working side-by-side with a Solutions Architect and delivery team, you’ll serve as the “front of house” for client engagement—guiding users through everything from requirements gathering to user acceptance testing (UAT). You’ll help translate business needs into functional understanding, without needing to be a developer or system architect yourself.
This role will eventually take over responsibilities from an internal Solutions Architect as that individual grows into a broader leadership capacity.
Key Responsibilities
-
Act as the primary liaison between clients and the delivery team, ensuring clear communication and alignment
-
Conduct interviews, workshops, and stakeholder meetings to gather and document business requirements
-
Translate business needs into user stories, functional specs, and acceptance criteria
-
Guide clients through UAT and adoption, including system walk-throughs and user support
-
Collaborate with architects and developers to ensure the build aligns with business expectations
-
Occasionally perform light configuration to illustrate solutions or validate functionality
-
Support Salesforce implementations primarily in the Financial Services and Insurance domain
What You'll Bring
-
2–3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst, ideally with an SI partner
-
Comfortable in client-facing roles, with the confidence to guide conversations and manage expectations
-
Hands-on familiarity with Salesforce, especially from an end-user and admin perspective
-
Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
-
Salesforce Administrator certification required (additional certifications a plus)
-
BA certification is not required, but familiarity with BA tools and frameworks is expected
-
Experience in the insurance industry is a major plus—terminology familiarity will be valued
Who You Are
You're the type of person who can explain Salesforce to a non-technical user and still keep the delivery team on track behind the scenes. You enjoy breaking down business challenges, finding the right solutions, and seeing the impact unfold. If you’ve worked at an SI partner before and enjoy the fast-moving, client-driven environment, you'll thrive here.
What We Offer
-
Salary range: $130K–$160K, based on experience
-
Performance-based bonus potential (bonuses paid in 2024; based on company profit-sharing model)
-
35-hour work weeks – no, that’s not a typo
-
Comprehensive health benefits, 401K with 4% match, and generous PTO
-
Opportunity for internal growth into SA roles or beyond
-
Remote-friendly culture with a tight-knit, collaborative team
